- What this is
- mkpool is open-source solo mining infrastructure. There are no accounts and no registration; you connect a miner and a wallet address.
- No custody of funds
- mkpool never holds, manages or distributes rewards. Block rewards are paid directly by the blockchain protocol to the wallet address you configure in your mining software, minus the 2% donation described in our Terms.
- Data we do handle
- Mining connections require no personal data. Optional features you choose to use (newsletter, block-found notifications) process the contact details you supply. See our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
- Your configuration, your responsibility
- You are solely responsible for the correctness of your stratum parameters and wallet addresses. mkpool is not liable for rewards lost to misconfiguration, network latency or downtime.
- Hardware risk
- Mining is an intensive workload. mkpool is not responsible for hardware failure or damage arising from connecting to this infrastructure.
- Tax and regulatory compliance
- You are solely responsible for compliance with the laws and tax rules of your jurisdiction. mkpool provides no financial, legal or tax advice.
- No guarantees
- Solo mining is probabilistic. Finding a block is never guaranteed, and past results do not predict future results.
- Provided as is
- mkpool's stratum software, API and infrastructure are released under GPL-3.0 and provided as is, with no warranty and no uptime or latency commitment. See our Disclaimer.
- Governing law
- Your use of mkpool is governed by the laws of England and Wales, United Kingdom, with disputes subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Using the service constitutes acceptance of our Terms of Service.
