1. Not Financial or Investment Advice
Nothing on mkpool.com or any associated subdomain constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Mining profitability is highly volatile and depends on network difficulty, hardware efficiency, electricity costs, and market prices that are entirely outside our control. You bear sole responsibility for evaluating whether mining is appropriate for your individual financial situation.
2. No Guaranteed Returns
Solo mining is probabilistic by nature. Finding a block depends on your proportional share of total network hashrate and is never guaranteed regardless of how long you mine or how much hashrate you contribute. Any calculator tools, hashrate estimations, or probability metrics displayed on this platform are informational approximations only and do not constitute earnings guarantees, projections, or promises.
3. No Custody of Funds
CWI-MKPool never holds, manages, forwards or distributes mining rewards. Block rewards are paid by the blockchain protocol itself, in the coinbase transaction of the block you solve, to the payout address you supply as your stratum username, less the pool fee set out in section 3 of the Terms of Service. There are no accounts, balances or withdrawals, and we cannot freeze, reverse, recover or seize funds. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of that address and for the security of the private keys controlling it; rewards paid to a mistyped address, or to an address whose keys you do not control, cannot be recovered by us. The full non-custodial model is set out in section 2 of the Terms of Service.
4. Your Configuration Is Your Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the correctness of the stratum parameters you use: host, port, difficulty tier, payout address and worker name. CWI-MKPool is not liable for rewards lost to misconfiguration, to pointing hardware at the wrong endpoint or chain, to network latency between your miner and our edge, or to downtime of any kind. We publish no uptime or latency commitment. You are responsible for configuring fallback pool profiles in your mining hardware, as set out in section 4 of the Terms of Service, and the limitation of our liability is set out in section 8 of the same document.
5. Hardware & Operating Environment
Mining is a sustained, intensive workload that draws significant power and produces significant heat. You alone are responsible for the specification, installation, power supply, ventilation, cooling, firmware and safe operation of your mining hardware, and for your electricity and operating costs. CWI-MKPool is not responsible for hardware failure, degradation, fire risk, or damage of any kind arising from connecting equipment to our infrastructure or from operating it at any particular clock, voltage or difficulty setting. This is in addition to your assumption of mining and blockchain risk under section 7 of the Terms of Service.
6. Software Provided "As Is"
CWI-MKPool's stratum software, REST API, website, and all associated infrastructure components are provided "AS IS" without any express or implied warranty. We disclaim all warranties including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. The limitation of our liability is set out in section 8 of the Terms of Service, and nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
7. Your Regulatory & Tax Responsibility
Cryptocurrency mining may be subject to regulatory oversight, taxation, or restrictions in your country of residence. You are solely responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable local laws, tax obligations, sanctions, and licensing requirements relevant to mining. CWI-MKPool does not provide legal or regulatory guidance, and your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of this responsibility.

Our website may reference or link to external projects, exchanges, hardware vendors, and community resources. These links are provided for informational convenience only. CWI-MKPool does not endorse, control, or accept any liability for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party websites.
9. Governing Law
This Disclaimer and your use of CWI-MKPool are governed by the laws of England and Wales, United Kingdom, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, as set out more fully in our Terms of Service.
